Who we are
The Greater Las Vegas West Indian American Association (GLVWIAA) is a not-for-profit organization focused on cultural development. We function as a magnet to bring West Indian Americans together in the area to implement efficient community involvement and development that will positively impact the broader community. We are a community-oriented, social organization dedicated to the expansion of opportunities for all people. We commit ourselves to providing leadership by fostering growth and unity within the Caribbean culture. The three pillars of focus for our organization are celebrating educational excellence, creating opportunities to bring cultural development, and developing social activities that benefit our local communities and the Caribbean diaspora.
